The Kilauea volcano of Hawaii’s big island erupted on May 3, 2018, causing lava flows in the residential neighborhood of Leilani Estate, forcing evacuations. This is continuously erupting since1983. Lava travels 6 and a half miles. 500acre land added. Prediction by Barcroft TV

The Kilauea volcano on Hawaii erupted today, and not long after the Big Island was hit by its strongest earthquake since 1975. The eruption released lava into a residential area in Hawaii on Thursday, leading to mandatory evacuations of nearby homes. High level of invisible gas Sulfur dioxide it is very toxic to inhale. Lava can be spread for several months.

Short-term exposures to SO2 can harm the human respiratory system and make breathing difficult. Children, the elderly, and those who suffer from asthma are particularly sensitive to effects of SO2.

At high concentrations, gaseous SOx can harm trees and plants by damaging foliage and decreasing growth.

SO2 and other sulfur oxides can contribute to acid rain which can harm sensitive ecosystems.

We have been to Leilani Estate summer time. Eruption is near residential area several houses are there. We are familiar with all those areas and nice people who we have seen there. This is the reason I am including several videos post. I hope they are alright.
